So far the Karpaz is mainly a destination for 1 day trips for people staying in Kyrenia
However more and more people are dicovering the beauty and tranquillity of this region.
So far the largest hotel is the Malibu Hotel which has 30 rooms and is the operation base
of Mephisto Diving. The Hotel has recently been completed. The rooms are furnished to a high standart and fitted with TV and Fridges.

Even though the Karpaz is a quiet place, there is still a good choice of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a drink or a meal as the sun sets over the sea. The Malibu Hotel offers Sea Kayaks to rent and we offer some banna-rides, especilly in the off season or at times of bad weather we organise Jeep Tours in our 3 Series Landrover, for all those not content to relax under an umbrella.

However Yeni Erenköy it the perfect location to explore the eastern part of the Island At about 45 min from Famagusta – 1 hour 20 to Larnaca – 1,5 hours to Nicosia and 2 to Kyrenia It provides a very good alternative for all who do not wish to stay in crowded Kyrenia. Our Dive centre is located right by the beach in the lower part of the Hotel. Shower and Toiletfacillities are close and we have our own washing and drying area. And while you wait for equipment to dry you can log your dives, have a cold drink and enjoy those all important sun set views.
